1-on-1 Advising

I don’t consider what I do so much as coaching but more so as helping and advising.

Coaching implies that I’m the expert with all of the answers that you need, and that is just not the case.

Instead, I approach working with you as a partnership, as someone working alongside you on your quest to bring your vision into fruition. We learn from and build off of one another and take advantage of two minds being better than just one.

I tend to think in a more calculated way when it comes to brainstorming and problem solving.

I put myself in the perspective that helps me to think like your clients and potential customers. I want to imagine how they might see you or your products as we work on positioning you for the best possible outcome.

Many times, prospective customers want to know who you are, not just what you do.

Having a strong resume is a plus, but the relationship that you can form with another person will be worth more than any degree or job description.

Let’s tell people about you and along the way, let’s remind them why you are the best person to help them solve their needs and wants.

Coaching with me entails meeting with me to discuss what’s next in the process of moving toward the end goal.

What’s our strategy? Who do we need to reach out to? What’s working so far? What can be improved? Are you enjoying the work?

We’ll walk through these and many other questions to help overcome hurdles and find opportunities.

1-on-1 advisory sessions are great for building rapport with one another.

During sessions, we get a chance to dive deeper into understanding your strengths, goals, values, and your vision so that we can tailor our time together to be most effective.

Sessions tend to focus on:

  • Identifying the most important things to focus on first;
  • Understanding what roles we will each have in the journey;
  • Problem solving, strategizing and brainstorming ideas;
  • Assessing overall progress and optimizing our approach.

Each session can be unique and focused strictly on a more current issue or opportunity, or they can be a continuation of an existing issue, opportunity, or project instead – based on your needs.

On occasion, 1-on-1 sessions will include input by subject matter experts with specialized knowledge, based on your needs and goals.
